How do I store the Paletti during winter?
We recommend bringing Paletti cushions indoors during the off-season or when the weather is bad, as Paletti is not an all-weather product. With the accompanying Paletti cover, you can protect Paletti from rain, leaves or bird droppings. The cover is water-repellent but not waterproof. We recommend using the cover in the following manner, as shown in the video below:
When using the cover, it is therefore important to:
- The shiny side should always face inwards, towards the furniture. The cover is not reversible.
- Make sure you tilt your covered Paletti to prevent rainwater from standing in the cover.
- If it is raining heavily and/or snowing and water continues to collect in the cover, regularly wipe the excess water from the cover so that it cannot penetrate the cover.
- To avoid moisture and mould, regularly ventilate your Paletti's cushion.
- Make sure the furniture is dry before the cover goes over the Paletti. Fold the cover well under the Paletti cushions to ensure the cover stays firmly in place, regardless of the weather conditions.
Paletti covers are meant to protect your cushions from a few rain showers, leaves or presents from birds. For the winter period and longer wet periods, we recommend storing your Paletti cushions in a dry and sheltered place. Make sure they are completely dry and clean before storing them! :)
