The shipment tracking shows "bulky goods" at DHL?
All shipments that are very large and heavy or cannot be packed in the usual cuboid boxes are considered bulky goods. This also includes shipments that have protruding parts or loose strapping.
Due to their special shape, these so-called "bulky goods" cannot be sorted by automatic sorting systems during transport and are thus considered "non-sortable". Since parcel service providers have to sort them by hand, this means a significant extra effort and sometimes longer delivery times.
Shipment tracking always shows the current data until delivery to the front door.
