My Hotspot Blanket disconnects automatically
If your Hotspot Blanket disconnects automatically, we ask you to check the following:
Is your battery still sufficiently charged? Check here.
If the battery is sufficiently charged, after your Hotspot reaches its maximum temperature, it may stop heating and switch itself off for safety reasons to prevent the Hotspot from getting too hot. If you wait a few minutes, you can then turn it back on as normal. You can recognise this safety mode by the 4 rapidly flashing red LED lights on the red Fatboy label. This only happens in the maximum heating mode HOT (3 lights = HOT).
After the temperature of the Hotspot has dropped a little, you can turn it on again and continue using it in the medium setting (setting 2) for the most comfortable user experience. The HOT mode is intended for short-term use only.
