What to do when my Edison the Medium doesn't work anymore?

We’re sorry to hear your Edison the Medium doesn't work and you can’t fully enjoy the item anymore.

To solve your problem, we want ask you to check these options:

  • Check if the Edison the Medium has power. Check this for example by connecting another lamp to the same power outlet.
  • Check if the remote control is working properly. If not, please change the battery. The remote control still doesn't work? Then please read further.
  • If the lamp does not work, check if the lamp is working with the black on/off button at the bottom of the lamp. If the lamp is working, the remote control is defective.
  • If the lamp does not work either via the remote control or via the black on/off button at the bottom of the lamp, please read further.

The following check can only be performed if you have at least two Edison the Medium lamps. If this is not the case, bring your lamp to a Fatboy reseller. Test a working remote from another Edison the Medium on your lamp. Does the lamp not respond? Then there is a problem with the infrared receivers in your Edison the Medium meaning the lamp does not respond to the signal from the remote control.

Check is the LED-tube inside the lamp is still intact. Place the lamp upside down and remove the screws. Lift the electrical part out of the lamp shade and check the LED-tube for damages.
